(तस्य वयं सुमतौ) Let us have the good sense to follow the wise strategy (यज्ञियस्या ऽपि भद्रे सौमनसे स्याम) by engaging whole heartedly in excellent activities for welfare of us all. (स) of that (सुत्रामा) excellent protector - King- (स्ववाँ इन्द्रो अस्मे आराच्चिद् द्वेष:) by developing home grown capabilities provides protection to his people (सनुतर्युयोतु) by getting rid of hidden enemies.
