Vedic punishment for Sex Crimes

AV 6.138

Punishments prescribed for a man who indulges in sex crimes.

1.त्वं वीरुधां श्रेष्ठतमाभिश्रुतास्योषधे |

इमं मे अद्य पुरूषं क्लीबमोपशिनं कृधि || अथर्व6.138.1

Administer the special famous and well known herb that stops any further production of sperms and neuters the man. Make the neutered person sport long hair and  a permanent visible mark to identify him as a neutered person.

( It is clear that a herbal preparation existed to stop sperm production. Modern science has yet to discover such a  medicinal herbal preparation that stops sperm production) 

2. क्लीबं कृध्योपशिनमथो कुरीरिणं कृधि |

अथास्येन्द्रो ग्रावभ्यामुभे भिनत्वाण्डयो || अथर्व 6.138.2

Make the person like a woman by crushing his testicles and  making him wear long hair.

3.क्लीब क्लीबं त्वाकरं वध्रे वध्रिं त्वाकरमरसारसं त्वाकरम्‌ |

कुरीरमस्य शीर्षणि कुम्भं चाधि निदध्मसि || अथर्व 6.138.3

The physically made impotent person is to be provided with visible ornaments that are worn by ladies in their head.

4.ये ते नाड्यौ देवकृते ययोस्तिष्ठति वृष्ण्यम्‌ |

ते ते भिनदद्मि शम्ययामुष्या अधि मुष्कयो: || अथर्व 6.138.4

Surgically operate to disconnect the two veins that supply sperms to the testicles.

5.यथा नडं कशिपने स्त्रियो भिन्दन्त्यश्मना |

एवा भिनद्मि ते शेपोSमुष्या अधि मुष्कयो || अथर्व 6.138.5

Surgically smash the penis that connects with the testicles.
