RV7.41 सौभाग्य सूक्तम्‌

ऋषि:-नाभाक: कण्व:- The intelligent one who is Motivated by सोम to nip in the bud all enemies

Make an Early morning start


प्रातरग्निं प्रातरिन्द्रं हवामहे प्रातर्मित्रावरुणा प्रातरश्विना ।
प्रातर्भगं पूषणं ब्रह्मणस्पतिं प्रातः सोममुत रुद्रं हुवेम ।। ऋ 7-41-1

Early in the morning , we thank and celebrate the energy and motivating will, that wakes us up to deal with all ourselves (visible) family , friends and (invisible) but ever-present social environments (society, neighbours, state establishment) responsibilities, by our normal , natural uninterruptable behaviour like our very breaths उदान and व्यान (inhalation and exhalations) that sustain our body, to sustain us in social life. (There is also the hidden message to perform daily pranayam yoga for wellbeing of our body.)
To ensure our health and prosperity we pray to the Almighty to give us the wisdom to exclude harmful undesirables in our nutrition and environments.

प्रातर्जितं भगमुग्रं हुवेम वयं पुत्रमदितेर्यो विधर्ता ।
आध्रश्चिद्यं मन्यमानस्तुरश्चिद्राजा चिद्यं भगं भक्षीत्याहं ।। ऋ 7-41-2
Pray and earn the blessings of Almighty that makes available limitless timeless ever available bounties like to His son , to engage from the morning itself to win , vigorously formidable prosperity and fortunes.
From the poorest most mentally depressed to the kings He provides the motivating force to engage in earning to meet our utmost needs.

भग प्रणेतर्भग सत्यराधो भगेमां धियमुदवाददन्नः ।
भग प्र णो जनय गोभिरश्वैर्भग प्र नृभिर्वृवन्तः स्याम ।। ऋ 4-47-3
Provider of all the fortunes, and motivator of all the minds, bless us with our minds to have positive invigorating thoughts for us to earn our fortunes by fair means.
Bless us all with good infrastructure ( cows and horses) and leaders and rulers to make us all very prosperous.
उतेदानी भगवन्तः स्यामोत प्रपित्व उत मध्ये अह्नाम् ।
उतोदिता मघवन्त्सूर्य्यस्य वयं देवानां सुमतौ स्याम ।। ऋ 4-47-4
And from this moment itself on all days through all times best of fortunes may be ours.
Ever bountiful and growing like the rising sun, may our intellect grow with divine wisdom.

भग एव भगवाँ अस्तु देवास्तेन वयं भगवन्तः स्याम ।
तं त्वा भग सर्व इज्जोहवीति सनो भग पुरएता भवेह ।। ऋ 4-47-5

Bhag in Vedic terminology is a dewataa that provides bounties for work in pursuit of material gains.
I invoke the blessings of Bhag dewataa to attend to all my honest pursuits for material gains.

6. समध्वरायोषसो नमन्तः दधिक्रावेव शुचये पदाय !
अर्वाचीनं वसुविदं भगं मे रथमिवाश्वा वाजिन आ वहन्तु !!RV7.41.6
प्रात:काल से ही सूर्य देवता को नमन कर के समाजोन्नति एवं सेवा द्वारा अर्वाचीन – Modern- उपलब्धियों और समृद्धि के साधनों को राष्ट्र एवं समाज सेवा हेतु प्राप्त कराने के यज्ञों में कुशल प्रबंधक राजा इत्यादि अपना दायित्व निभाने में लग जाते हैं.

7. अश्वावतीर्गोमतीर्न उषासो वीरवतीः सदमुच्छन्तु भद्राः !
घृतं दुहाना विश्वतः प्रपीता यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः !! RV 7.41.7
कल्याणकारी उषाएं प्रतिदिन नव ऊर्जा की स्फूर्ति, पौष्टिक अन्नदि से परिपूर्ण करने वाले सुवीरों से नित्य हमारा कल्याण्मार्ग प्रशस्त करते रहें
